Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
On 29th and 30th September, our Year 5 children visited the Mill Adventure Base. The children had an amazing time. They developed their independence, their resilience and their confidence. They took part in a variety of activities from Kata-canoeing and tunnelling to climbing and archery. All instructors at the base commented on how well behaved and polite our children were. They really did shine! Well done to all Year 5’s.
We were delighted to welcome back Reverend Barbara to our school assembly today. Pre-covid, Reverend Barbara used to visit school regularly to tell children stories in assembly and the children love it! Today, we welcomed Reverend Barbara back into school and the children really enjoyed listening to the story and the moral behind it.
We were all saddened by yesterdays news and the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We will be holding a special whole school assembly this morning to show our respect and celebrate the life of our longest serving monarch. We will make sure we do our best to reassure and support all of our children during this difficult time.
Over the summer holidays we have been busy having our KS1 outside area re-surfaced. This has created a wonderful safe space, under the canopy, where the children can enjoy their learning.
It has been lovely to welcome the children back to the new school year. We have enjoyed hearing all about their summer adventures, both home and away.
The children have enjoyed our new lunchtime 'play zones'. The children now have 5 play zones at lunchtime to enjoy. These are:
Ball skills
Creative area
Quiet area
Music and theatre area
Keep fit area
