Year 4

 

Welcome to Year 4

 

There are lots of exciting topics in Year 4; a list of these is posted on this website every term.  The topic plan is useful information, as some parents like to tie in day trips, books for birthdays/Christmas and documentaries on TV etc.

This is what we are learning about this term.

Homework

 

We ask that children read  five times a week to an adult, regularly practise their times tables with multiplication and division facts as well as practise their weekly spellings, from time to time we will set a task, for example Maths, English, learning lines and Topic related research or activity with return date set accordingly.

 

PE

 

Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit in school, PE lessons take place on Thursday and Friday.  When we have swimming lessons you will always be informed by letter. This will be on a Tuesday morning.
