  • Cross Country Golds

    Fri 20 Apr 2018

What a fantastic performance by the Gilthill Cross Country team on Wednesday. The girls team set the scene by taking all three individual medals and fourth place to win the team trophy, with the lowest score possible – 10 points!

The boys race followed, where they took the first two individual medals and then first place in the team event. As Mr Lee said to the team, these are the best results we have ever had with super attitude by all the runners in their approach during the racing but also in the way they have encouraged others to improve during practices. Hopefully younger children are inspired by this super result.

Reece Y5, Callum Y5, Aaron Y6 and Cory Y6 all finished in the top ten places for the boys.

Well done to all the competitors and to Mr Lee and staff for training and encouraging the children.

  • Muddy Mile for Sport Relief

    Mon 16 Apr 2018
Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped with our mile walk for Sport Relief. The children thoroughly enjoyed their muddy walk across the fields and we raised £223.40. We also achieved our school target of walking over 1 million steps.
