• Clean Sweep for Cross Country Teams.

  Over forty Gilthill children took part in the Cross Country Event at Hall Park on Wednesday 16th October 2019.

  Despite the wet conditions all our children had a great attitude and super running. We had some excellent performances, especially by a group of Year 4 girls who ran in the Year 5/6 race and finished in the top ten!

  Gilthill came away with a team win in all four races with several children qualifying to represent Broxtowe in the regional Cross Country event in the Spring.

  Fantastic! Well done to everyone who took part.

  Thank you to all the parents who supported the runners and the staff who encouraged everyone to do their best.

  Year 4 and Year 5 headed to PGL to enjoy activities including kayaking, zip wire, challenge course and various other outdoor activities. Thank you to all the staff who took them.
