Queen's Platinum Jubilee

This week at Gilthill Primary School, we have been celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We took part in Jubilee orienteering activities around the school grounds, we designed our own commemorative stamps and coins and enjoyed lots of Jubilee inspired arts and crafts. To complete the week, the children came to school dressed in red, white and blue and the whole school had a Jubilee Garden Party on the field. Each child was given a commemorative Jubilee badge, funded by our PTA, as a memento of this very special occasion. The children thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations and learning more about the Queen and her reign.
