School council and pupil voice
We believe in the power of pupil voice at Gilthill Primary School. At the start of the year, children elect their School Council representative from each class through a democratic process. The school council meets regularly to discuss things like fundraising and how to improve the school grounds. They also have a say in lunchtime developments, especially in designing the new lunchtime zones and assisting with purchasing equipment. Additionally, the school council representatives play a vital role in showing around prospective parents, giving them insights into our school community and ethos. The School Council at Gilthill Primary School truly represents the students' voices and helps make positive changes within our school environment.
