Gilthill Cross Country Team Smash School Record!

Gilthill Cross Country Team take the gold and silver in both the individual and team events for boys and girls.

In the girl’s race Holly, Y6 won gold closely followed by Kelsey, Y5 taking silver. The girls team won the overall event with a staggering 12 points.  Six of the top ten finishers were Gilthill runners.

The boys race was equally exciting with Lucas, Y5 taking the gold medal and Finn, Y6 coming in second for the silver. The boys team won the overall event with 15 points, 52 points ahead of the second place team.

Well done  to all the runners a fantastic performance. Well done to Mr Lee for encouragement and training and thank you to all the supporters who came to cheer everyone on.
