Bulb Planting with the Mayor of Broxtowe.
Year 5 children went with the volunteers from the Greenwood Trust to plant bulbs around the trees in Hall Om Wong Park.
The year 5 worked really hard to plant over 700 bulbs and small native plants around the trees in the park. The Mayor of Broxtowe joined the children and helped to site some of the bird boxes the children had made in school last week. The children finished their visit by hanging up their homemade bird feeders on the trees in the park. Thank you to the Greenwood Trust for helping us and providing all the resources.
