Birdbox making with Greenwood Trust
Today the children in Year 5 enjoyed making bird boxes and bird feeders with the ladies from the Greenwood Trust.
Year 5 children created bird feeders with pine cones, fat and seeds. They nailed together bird boxes for Robins and Blue Tits. Next week another group of Year 5 children will plant bulbs and site the feeders and boxes in school and at Hall Om Wong park. A big thank you to the Greenwood Trust for supplying us with all the materials and for helping us to complete the Big School Birdwatch in the school grounds. We all had an enjoyable morning
