International Day of Dance
This year we once again celebrated International Day of dance in lin-dance style! And what an event it was! I love seeing how our children fully embrace the challenge of learning new dance moves, throwing themselves into rehearsals and performances with enthusiasm and smiles. While we recognise that dancing isn’t everyone’s favourite activity, our children consistently demonstrate fantastic teamwork, resilience and perseverance, coming together to perform as one in our whole school playground flash mob.
I hope you enjoyed watching our country and western inspired flash mob as much as we enjoyed performing it. A special thank you to Miss White, who came back once again to Gilthill to choreograph and teach the dances, they were absolutely fantastic.
At Gilthill, we love embracing the arts and enriching our children’s lives through music, movement and creativity. We can’t wait to see what theme we choose for next year! Ideas always welcome!
