We’ve had the most wonderful ACE assembly today all based around celebrating World Book Day. It was such a joy to see the children arriving in their fantastic costumes and hearing them talk so proudly about their favourite book characters.

The enthusiasm across school has been brilliant, the children absolutely loved their oracy character battles in class, it was such a fun and creative way to share our love of reading. Even those who chose not to dress up (we know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea!) enjoyed chatting about the stories and characters they love.

A huge thank you to all our children and our amazing parents and carers, for getting involved and supporting school.
